Shipping and Return Policy


When you order, remember, each item is hand-dyed. The photo gives you a good representation, but slight variations in color or design or in color placement within the item are normal for hand-dyed items. It is what makes hand-dyed tie-dye unique: no two pieces are ever exactly the same.

Shipping Information:

Free Ground Shipping is applicable for the 48 contiguous United States only. Please call or email us for shipping charges on international orders. All items are dyed by hand specifically for your order. Please allow 7-10 business days for retail orders to ship. (Wholesale orders of may require 2-3 weeks). We also keep a large inventory of shirts in stock, so we will often ship same/next day. Need something in a hurry? Contact us - we are happy to Express Ship inventory items.

Payment Information

Acceptable forms of payment include PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Please contact us in advance if requesting Purchase Order, Certified (Bank) Checks or Postal Money Order payments. Please note the all forms of payment should be made payable to, and credit card statements will show charge from Terry Cotter. Personal checks are NOT accepted. Credit Card orders are authorized at time of order; tracking information is sent when items ship.

Turn Around Time:

All items are dyed by hand in your size/style. Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to ship. (Items can take up to 14 days during busy seasons. Wholesale orders of 100 shirts or more may require additional time. 1000-shirt orders require 2-3 weeks to ship.) Please note: our dye week starts on Monday with shipping on the following Monday. Orders received Wednesday, Thursday or Friday default to the following Monday dye week. If items are needed within a specific time frame, please do let us know at time of order and we will do everything possible to accomodate your time frame.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:

We want you to be happy with your order and to feel comfortable purchasing from us. Because all items are custom-made, we do request that you contact us first regarding potential returns. If we made a mistake, we will go out of our way to make it right. Return requests should be made in writing or by e-mail within 7 days of receipt of item and returns must be received within 10 days of authorization. Returns must be received in same condition as originally shipped and will in no case be accepted if evidence they have been used or worn. Pre-authorized returns subject to 20% restocking fee with $5 minimum/shirt ordered. Returns without preauthorization will not be accepted. Cancellations/ changes to order must be placed by Tuesday 6 p.m. EST following date original order is placed. Cancellations after that time will be treated as Returns. Buyer pays for return shipping; return shipping charge not refundable.

Sales Tax:

Connecticut Sales Tax is applied to orders shipped to a Connecticut address.
